The audience who watched the “Unfinished Business” of Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and Mexico’s Juan Manuel Marquez in the cinemas may be less in numbers this time around, but the emotions they expressed were as fierce as ever.
By regular movie standards, the crowd who watched the much-awaited sports spectacle in the six SM Megamall Cinemas was huge. But compared to Pacquiao’s past battles, the turn-out was smaller, a cinema worker said on Sunday.
Ping Ama, a checker from Solar Sports, the company that held the rights to the fight, said there were more gaps in the seats compared to Pacquiao’s past fights.
“Before, there were still plenty of people coming in at 10 a.m., but now, there were few,” she added in Filipino.

Andy Pettitte apologized today to the Yankees and to their fans for his part in the scandal involving performance-enhancing drugs in baseball and said he had to tell the truth in a deposition last month because he was under oath before a Congressional committee and also because God would be his ultimate judge.
“I am sorry,” Pettitte said of his use of human growth hormone in 2002 as a Yankee and in 2004 with the Houston Astros. “I never took this to get an edge on anyone.”
What is Andy Pettitte doing? He betrayed his friend and saying “I am sorry.”.

There’s a rumor today that the 35-year-old center will be going back to the West. If that would be true, will the Suns trade Amare Stoudamire?
Still I believe that the Suns will never win the West as long as their system is a scoring system. They score a lot of points but they give up too much also. Shaq will give them a chance if he is healthy. Let’s wait if this will take place.
